In 1954, Jim Henson got his first job as a local television puppeteer and soon created his alter ego, the debonair Kermit the Frog. Champion Race Horse Abducted, Never to be Seen Again (1983)

Two years after his record-setting win at the Epsom Derby, the acclaimed Irish racehorse Shergar was loaded into a trailer at gunpoint and abducted by a gang of masked men. At that time, the retired 1981 "European Horse of the Year" commanded a stud fee upwards of £50,000 and was thus extremely valuable. The Royal Hobart Regatta is an aquatic carnival that includes sailing, rowing, and swimming events, as well as fireworks and parades. It is a holiday in Tasmania, Australia, and is held on the Derwint River in early February during Australia's summer season. Hobart is the capital of Tasmania, Australia's southernmost state.
