Kumari

Worshipped by Nepali Buddhists and some Nepali Hindus but not by Tibetan Buddhists, a Kumari is a young girl from the Shakya caste of Nepal's indigenous Newa people who is regarded as the bodily incarnation of the goddess Taleju. Because her feet are considered sacred and may not touch the ground, she is carried everywhere. Nathan Hale Is Hanged for Spying (1776)

A young teacher at the start of the American Revolution, Hale joined the Continental Army and volunteered for the dangerous mission of spying on British forces. The inexperienced 21-year-old managed to penetrate the British lines but was captured and hanged without trial. His last words, reported as, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country," became a symbol of the Revolutionary spirit. Yet, some question whether these were his exact words. NASA Satellite Falling Back to Earth

A defunct NASA satellite is expected to fall back to Earth within days. The 6.5-ton Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) will likely break apart as it approaches Earth, and most of it will be incinerated due to the heat of reentry. However, scientists have identified 26 pieces that could survive the fall through the atmosphere.
