The Great Storm of 1703: First Eddystone Lighthouse Is Destroyed (1703)

For five years, the Eddystone Lighthouse guided mariners safely past the treacherous Eddystone Rocks off the southwestern coast of the UK. Then, a catastrophic hurricane struck.
